Today we’re excited to announce a change to DoltHub Pro’s pricing, dropping the price 10x to just $5/month!
DoltHub is the place online where you can discover and host public Dolt databases free of charge, and a DoltHub Pro subscription gives you access to the private database hosting option.
Prior to this pricing change, DoltHub Pro subscribers received 100 MB of private data storage free, and then were billed $50/month plus $1/GB/month for their private data over 100MB.
Now with our new pricing model, DoltHub Pro subscribers get the same free 100 MB of private data storage and are only billed $5/month when they exceed 100 MB. That $5/month rate holds until private data reaches 5 GB. Additional storage over 5 GB is billed at $1/GB/month.
This big change to our pricing structure was driven by Dolt’s adoption in the Beads and Gastown communities, who have been using Dolt and want access to private DoltHub remotes for their Beads, but at a fair price for their use-case.
We are happy to support these customers and will continue to find ways to make their experience using both Dolt and DoltHub the best we possibly can.
